ION Facility Services automates their entire work order management process using Kibog's Work Order Management solution
ION Facilities Services Inc. a leading Canadian Facilities Management Services provider, serving clients across Canada, reached out to Kibog to automate their entire Work Order Management process. Kibog’s Professional Services team engaged with the ION team to understand their needs, pain point and any additional requirements. This resulted in an implementation and user onboarding plan and roadmap that included timelines for customization & configuration, onboarding sequence & data migration, user training and post-deployment support.
One of the big decisions made by the team was to decommission existing tools and make Kibog’s Work Order Management solution as the only source of data. This resulted in significant effort being spent on analyzing current tools and software and performing Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) activities so that data was available on the new solution when users logged-on. In addition, user training and onboarding support was a key aspect of this implementation plan as users needed to get ramped-up quickly and avoid business impacts. Kibog’s team conducted multiple training and walk-through to mitigate this risk and where necessary, performed one-on sessions to avoid loss of productivity time.
These implementation strategies resulted in a smooth transition and ION Facility Services team were able to onboard with minimal impact and productivity loss.
